Mark is a K-pop idol under SM Entertainment, which he joined in 2012 after passing SM Global Auditions in Canada. Born August 2, 1999, he debuted in three NCT sub-units within a single year: NCT U in April 2016, NCT 127 in July 2016, and NCT Dream in August 2016. He initially graduated from NCT Dream in late 2018 upon reaching adulthood. He returned in 2020 when the group moved to a permanent lineup, then departed again on April 8, 2026. He remains a member of NCT 127.
