Doyoung is a member of NCT 127, the Seoul-based sub-unit of NCT managed by SM Entertainment, joining the unit in December 2016 ahead of the group's second EP Limitless. He joined the label in 2013 and served as a fixed MC for the music show Show Champion from January to June 2015. He previously debuted with NCT U in April 2016.
