Jungwoo is a member of NCT 127, the Seoul-based sub-unit of NCT managed by SM Entertainment, officially joining the unit's lineup in October 2018 for the group's first full-length album Regular-Irregular as its final member. He was introduced through SM Rookies on April 17, 2017, and previously debuted in the rotational NCT sub-unit NCT U for the single "Boss" in February 2018.
