Sana is a Japanese sub vocalist of Twice, the nine-member South Korean girl group formed by JYP Entertainment. Born December 29, 1996, she was selected through the Mnet survival program Sixteen before Twice debuted on October 20, 2015. Her "shy shy shy" delivery in the 2016 single "Cheer Up" became a viral meme in South Korea. The group's recent releases include the full album ENEMY in August 2025 and TEN: The Story Goes On in October 2025.
