Chaeyoung is a member of the South Korean girl group Twice, formed by JYP Entertainment. She was selected as one of the original seven members of Twice through the Mnet survival show Sixteen (2015), debuting with the group on October 20, 2015. She co-wrote the track "Eye Eye Eyes" from Twice's fourth EP Signal (2017) with fellow member Jihyo.
