Sunwoo is a member of South Korean boy band The Boyz, formed by IST Entertainment and managed by One Hundred, who debuted on December 6, 2017. Before debut, he competed as a contestant on High School Rapper in January 2017, where he was eliminated early in the competition. In August 2022, he suspended activities due to health issues.
