Kevin is a member of South Korean boy band The Boyz, formed by IST Entertainment and managed by One Hundred, who debuted on December 6, 2017. Prior to the group's debut, he was introduced to the public as a contestant on Kpop Star 6, where he was eliminated early in the competition, and released an OST for the drama Saimdang, Light's Diary in April 2017.
