Seok Matthew is a member of Zerobaseone (ZB1), a South Korean boy band formed through Mnet's Boys Planet and managed by WakeOne. The group debuted on July 10, 2023, with Youth in the Shade, which sold over two million copies and earned Zerobaseone a Rookie Grand Slam — sweeping ten domestic Rookie of the Year awards. Four members departed in March 2026 after contract expiration, leaving the group as a five-piece. Their mini album Regression Love (回帰 Love) is set to release on August 19, 2026.
