Kim Tae-rae is a member of Zerobaseone (ZB1), a South Korean boy band formed through Mnet's Boys Planet and managed by WakeOne. He competed on the singing show Top 10 Student in 2020. The group debuted on July 10, 2023, and went on to earn a Rookie Grand Slam by winning ten domestic Rookie of the Year awards. Four members left after contracts expired in March 2026; Kim Tae-rae is among the five who remain. Zerobaseone is set to release the mini album Regression Love on August 19, 2026.
