Dami is a member of Dreamcatcher, a South Korean girl group formed under Dreamcatcher Company. Originally part of the group's five-member predecessor, MINX, she continued when the act expanded to seven members and re-debuted as Dreamcatcher on January 13, 2017. The group is recognized for fusing rock and metal with K-pop — a sound that earned them the description "The Face of Rock in K-pop" — and has continued releasing music through 2024, including the mini album [VirtuouS].
