Seventeen: Discography & Career Overview

2026-06-19

A chronological look at Seventeen's releases, lineup, and activity — grounded in verified release data.

Seventeen debuted on May 26, 2015 under Pledis Entertainment — a thirteen-member group whose fandom is named CARAT. Organized around distinct role designations spanning vocalists, rappers, dancers, and a credited producer, the group entered the K-pop landscape with an unusually large lineup. Internal team structure is reflected in designated positions such as Vocal Team Leader (Woozi, also credited as Producer) and Performance Team Leader (Hoshi). Over the decade-plus since their launch, Seventeen has assembled one of the more extensive discographies in K-pop, moving steadily from debut mini-albums through multiple full studio projects and repackages.

Debut & Early Releases

Three days after debuting, Seventeen released 17 Carat, their first mini-album, on May 29, 2015. A second mini-album, Boys Be, followed in September of the same year, establishing a rapid release cadence from the outset. The first full-length studio effort, Love & Letter, arrived on April 25, 2016 with "Pretty U" as its title track. A repackage edition was issued on July 4, 2016, this time centered on "Very Nice."

Expanding the Catalog

The mini-album Going Seventeen, featuring "Boom Boom," closed out 2016 in December. 2017 brought Al1 in May ("Don't Wanna Cry") and the full-length Teen, Age in November, followed early the next year by the repackage Director's Cut ("Thanks," February 2018). Within 2018 the group also released the mini-albums We Make You and You Make My Day, the latter led by "Oh My!"

2019 covered a broader range of formats: the mini-album You Made My Dawn ("Home," January), two single albums — Happy Ending in May and Hit in August — and the full-length An Ode in September. Four releases spanned 2020: the single Fallin' Flower in April and the mini-albums Heng:garæ, 24H, and Semicolon ("Home;Run") across the remainder of the year.

Recent Work

2021 featured a pairing of standalone singles — Not Alone and Bittersweet — alongside the mini-albums Your Choice ("Ready to Love," June) and Attacca ("Rock with You," October), with the single Power of Love arriving in December. In 2022, Darl+ing preceded the full-length Face the Sun ("Hot"), released May 26 — the group's seventh debut anniversary. The repackage Sector 17 ("_World") followed in July, and Dream closed the year as a November mini-album.

Two further mini-albums, FML and Seventeenth Heaven, are also part of Seventeen's catalog, though specific release dates are not available in the current data set. Across formats — singles, minis, full-lengths, and repackages — the group's output reflects a consistent rhythm of activity sustained over more than a decade under an active status.
