Born December 28, 2000, Rui participated in Mnet's Boys Planet in 2023 under the full name Chen Kuanjui before the group's formation. XLOV debuted on January 7, 2025 with the single album I'mma Be; the four-member lineup also includes Wumuti, Hyun, and Haru. Built around a genderless concept, the group followed with I One (2025), Uxlxve (2025), and the full album I,God (2026).
