Yeji is a South Korean singer born May 26, 2000, who serves as leader, vocalist, and dancer of ITZY, a JYP Entertainment girl group that debuted February 12, 2019. She joined JYP in 2015 through an audition and trained three years before the group's debut, also appearing pre-debut on Mnet's Stray Kids and SBS's The Fan. ITZY won a Rookie Grand Slam in 2019, taking all five major Rookie of the Year awards, and has remained active, releasing the full album Motto in May 2026.
