Seonghwa is a member of ATEEZ, a South Korean boy band formed by KQ Entertainment. He joined the agency as a trainee before the group's debut on October 24, 2018, with the EP Treasure EP.1: All to Zero. One of eight members, he was among those who entered KQ Entertainment as the group's roster was assembled. ATEEZ released the mini album Golden Hour: Part.5 on June 26, 2026, the latest in the group's ongoing series.
