She joined YG Entertainment as a trainee in July 2011 and appeared pre-debut in the music videos for Epik High's "Spoiler + Happy Ending" (2014) and Hi Suhyun's "I'm Different" (2014), as well as a cameo in the 2015 drama The Producers.
