A former actor, he was revealed as one of the group's five members on September 13, 2024, in a TV Chosun special titled Prelude to Love. The group documented their pre-debut period in the 2024 TV Chosun reality show Falling for a Trot-dol: Lovestruck Noonas and has since contributed to several soundtracks.
