현 (Hyun) was a member of n.SSign, a South Korean boy band formed through Channel A's reality competition Stars Awakening in 2022 and managed by n.CH Entertainment. The group debuted on August 9, 2023, with the extended play Birth of Cosmo. 현 left n.SSign in 2024 for health reasons; n.CH Entertainment publicly announced the departure on August 5 of that year, making him one of three original members to exit the then-ten-member group during that period.
