The Boyz: Discography & Career Overview
A chronological look at The Boyz's releases, lineup, and activity — grounded in verified release data.
The Boyz debuted on December 6, 2017, under One Hundred, with a ten-member lineup: Sangyeon, Jacob, Younghoon, Hyunjae, Juyeon, Kevin, New, Q, Sunwoo, and Eric. Nearly eight years on, the group remains active and has built a catalog of nineteen releases spanning mini-albums, singles, and full-length studio albums — a body of work that moved steadily from dense early output into broader, more structured projects over time.
Debut & Early Releases
The group's debut mini-album, The First, arrived on their debut date itself, opening a run of releases that came in close succession through 2018 and 2019. The Start (April 2018) led with "Giddy Up"; the single The Sphere followed in September with "Right Here." The Only closed out 2018 in November, centered on "No Air." Into 2019, Bloom Bloom arrived as a single in spring, Dreamlike brought the title track "D.D.D" in summer, and Tattoo followed in fall. By the end of 2019, the group had already released seven projects in just over two years.
Into Full-Length Territory
The group crossed into full-length territory in February 2020 with Reveal, their debut studio album, marking a shift away from the mini-album format that had defined their early catalog. Chase, released in September 2020 with "The Stealer" as its lead track, followed later that year. 2021 saw Breaking Dawn arrive as a second full-length in March, the mini-album Thrill-ing — led by "Thrill Ride" — in August, and the single Maverick in November. Two more mini-albums, She's the Boss (May 2022) and Be Aware (August 2022), continued the pace through 2022.
The Phantasy Trilogy
Beginning in 2023, The Boyz embarked on their most extended single-series project. A mini-album, Be Awake, led by "Roar," arrived in February 2023 ahead of the main effort. Phantasy Pt.1 Christmas in August launched the three-part series that August, with Phantasy Pt.2 Sixth Sense following in November of the same year. Phantasy Pt.3 Love Letter, featuring "Nectar" as its title track, brought the trilogy to a close in March 2024. Releasing three full-length installments within roughly seven months represented a distinct chapter in the group's output.
Recent Output
In March 2025, The Boyz released Unexpected, their sixth full-length studio album, arriving approximately one year after the conclusion of the Phantasy trilogy. The release brings the group's total to nineteen projects across their active career, continuing a pattern in which full-length releases have played an increasingly central role relative to the shorter-format work that defined their earlier years.
